"Wang Gong Liangguang Guoshu Dragon, Lion and Drum Troupe" sublimated the culture of dragon and lion dance into an artistic performance of a stage play.

After the shift of local development focus, Wanggong's economy has gradually declined. It is like a strong sea breeze, forcing people to bend over and bow their heads in order to withstand the wind.

"Wang Gong Liangguang Guoshu Dragon and Lion Drum Troupe" is composed of local teenagers. They practice hard all the time and are not afraid of adversity. They are committed to improving the level of dragon and lion culture. On December 10, they will perform "Long Yue" "The dance drama, with the sound of drums, Chinese and Western musical instruments, and the dancing postures of dragons and lions, demonstrates how the carp defies difficulties and perseveres after repeated defeats, and how the transformed carp, under the praise of the fish and the encouragement of the lion, The story of leaping over the dragon's gate and cultivating into auspicious dragon.

Wu Songxuan, the head of the group, said that the establishment of the Drum Troupe hopes to transform the dragon and lion dance from the temple fair to an international competitive event in the National Games, World Championships and Asian Championships. The members of the group work very hard to practice a sport that is not expected , the degree of dedication is no less than that of regular sports players.

Now sublimated to the artistic performance of stage plays, thanks to the assistance of the Central United Service Center of the Executive Yuan, the War Drum Troupe can perform in Liming Office Park.

Dong Chenhong, a fourth-year student at the Taiwan University of Physical Education, said that most members of the Drum Troupe come from Fangyuan and Wang Gong, and their families are generally poor. Just like the play "Dragon Leap" performed, a small fish grows into a big fish, after many twists and turns, and finally jumps over the dragon gate to become a Xianglong, just like the life portrayal of many members of the troupe.

Hong Renfang, a fourth-year member of the Taiwan Sports University, said that she is not restricted by gender in the Drum Troupe. She can try to practice various roles such as dragon dance, lion dance, and drumming. She is full of accomplishment.

Hong Zongyi, deputy executive director of the Central United Service Center of the Executive Yuan, said that the "Wang Gong Liangguang Guoshu Dragon and Lion Drum Troupe" is the help of the headwind youth, helping the youth grow up for a long time, looking for dropouts from the past to return to school to attend classes, and helping them get back to the right track of life; Up to now, we have helped students to be admitted to national universities, helped them broaden their horizons, and helped quite a few young people get out of trouble and create a different life.
