[Reporter Tu Yingru/Taipei Report] The popular "FUTURE VISION LAB" experimental exhibition program of Taiwan Contemporary Culture Experimental Field (C-LAB) will be held in Hualien for the first time after its conclusion in Taipei. The Cultural and Creative Industry Park (referred to as Huachuang) was held to celebrate the Christmas holiday with the public.

C-LAB technology media experiment platform launched the "FUTURE VISION LAB" project in 2020 to create an ultra-high-resolution immersive audio-visual experience spherical structure "DOME", providing full immersion in a hemispherical structure with a diameter of 12 meters and a height of 6 meters audio-visual experience.

"FUTURE VISION LAB @ Hualien Cultural and Creative Park" is the first time for C-LAB to introduce cross-border performances of contemporary art and technology to Hua Chuang, and it is also the first time for DOME to perform indoors. A performance style in which modernity and history coexist.

This time, Huachuang will premiere two outstanding international works, including Russian-American director Lena Herzog's "Last Whisper", which discusses the submerged in the noise of contemporary mainstream culture, resulting in a large-scale multilingual The phenomenon of extinction; Japanese audiovisual artist Atsushi Tasho's work "Show Your Mind on My Screen" follows the real-time encoding audiovisual of the previous LIVE performance, and this time it will rearrange and generate new encoding.

In addition to the aforementioned two internationally invited works, the project host Cai Qihong selected 7 featured works to be screened in Hualien, including Jiuge Design's "Burning", Mexico's creative team Medusa Lab explored the nature of the universe "UNINVERSE", Chen Yurong "Dynamic Boundary - Heterogeneous Convolution", "View" jointly created by Xtrux and Sheng Sheng, "Between Flowers" by Zhao Peiyu, "Night Tour" by artist Zhuang He, "Packet Collision" by Cai Qihong "Machine", designed a multi-person online interaction mechanism, and let the audience experience the diversity of calculations in the form of screenings.

During the exhibition, many special units were planned, such as the popular science and art interactive theater "Mobile Story House", which will bring "Fantastic Beasts Research Institute"; The work "Gathering" (Tokyo, 2020) created by the art project, its traditional Taiwanese calico elements, symbolizing the transition from an agricultural society to a modern era, will create a unique vision of contemporary aesthetics with DOME in the exhibition hall; In addition, the "Future Vision Party" focusing on audio-visual art will also be staged simultaneously.

The exhibition period of "FUTURE VISION LAB @ Hualien Cultural and Creative Park" is from December 24th to March 5th, 2023.
