Master's degree with minimum 55 percent marks in the relevant subject from a recognized institute or university.

Along with this, you must have passed the National Eligibility Test i.e. NET or state level slate exam.

For the post of Assistant Professor, candidates will get E Academic Pay Level 10 (Rs 57,700-1,82,400/-) of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix along with other allowances.
