Camilla, 75, wore a floor-length blue dress with sheer lace sleeves by Bruce Oldfield Couture this evening, which she accessorized with an Order of the Garter ribbon.

It was this dress that Camilla wore for a photo shoot for Vogue magazine in the summer, which was prepared in honor of the then 75-year-old Duchess of Cornwall.

The queen consort accessorized her evening outfit with George VI's opulent sapphire tiara, as well as diamond and sapphire earrings and the same necklace around her neck.

Camilla chose jewelry in honor of her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II.

The necklace and earrings were a wedding gift from her dear father, King George VI, when the princess married Prince Philip in November 1947.

The jewelry was antique, dating back to the Victorian era.

These huge sapphires are surrounded by a halo of diamonds and set together with additional single diamonds weighing between 0.8 and 1.5 carats.

When Queen Elizabeth changed the necklace, she removed the four clusters of sapphires at the back and reworked one of the large stones at the front to create a beautiful pendant for the necklace that Camilla chose not to wear that evening.

It will be recalled that the Princess of Wales also wore her mother-in-law Princess Diana's tiara this evening.

This is one of her favorite Knots of Love tiaras.
