The organizer Kuroshio Art said that in response to the era of the epidemic and the shadow of war, the theme of this project is love and hope, hoping to soothe this restless era and the lost souls through music and dance.

Most of the dance codes that fit the theme are newly created modern ballets, including 3 Asian premieres and 2 Taiwan premieres, and 5 of the 8 dances are performed live with international musicians, which can be said to be difficult to replicate a momentary choice.

The principal dancer of the Berlin Ballet, Ianna Saranko, is "outrageously beautiful" in terms of appearance and limbs.

The international dancers who will come to the stage include Iana Salenkom and Marian Walte, the principal dancers of the Berlin Ballet, Anna Ol and James Stout, the principal dancers of the Dutch National Ballet, Maria Kochetkova, the former principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet, and the Royal Danish Ballet. Former principal dancer and choreographer Sebastian Kloborg, and former soloists Oliviver Coeffard and Toon Lobach of the Dutch Dance Theater NDT.

Among them, Iana Salenkom, who was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, is not only the principal of the Berlin Ballet, but also a guest principal dancer of the Royal Ballet of England.

She was selected as the best female dancer of 2016 by the Italian dance magazine "Danza & Danza".

Kuroshio Art described her as "extremely beautiful" from appearance to limbs.

This time, she will collaborate with Marianne Walter on the Taiwan premiere of "Elegie der Herzen" and the well-known "Meditation" from the opera "Thaïs", both of which are beautiful and romantic dances.

It is also worth mentioning that Moscow-born Maria Kochetkova (Maria Kochetkova) was the principal of the San Francisco Ballet from 2007 to 2018, and has twice won the "Benois de la Danse" dance award, and has been a guest principal dancer of major international ballet companies since 2018.

This time she will lead the Asian premiere of the dance "Selvportraet (Self-Portrait)".

According to Kuroshio Art, "Self-portrait" is the finale of this work, with a total length of 23 minutes. It is inspired by the three goddesses of fate in Greek mythology: Clotho (the spinner of fate), Lachesis (the decision maker of fate) and Atropos (the fate maker). Terminator), who through a spun thread dispense the fate of mortals at birth.

Choreographer Paul Lightfoot noted that the association of figures representing life, love and death "reflects the way we all live in these strange and lonely times, estranged from each other and yet Interconnected. It’s a reflection on the beauty and sadness of our intertwined state.”

The music of this work is tailor-made by Australian composer Alexander McKenzie, played by the composer himself on the piano, together with violinist Niklas Walentin and cellist Toke.
