Huang Wanting, senior manager of the development joint evaluation team of Puli Christian Hospital, said that parents, nannies, kindergarten teachers, and nurses in health centers who provide public-funded vaccinations and child preventive health care services are all key figures in discovering children's retardation. Timely intervention will help improve children's developmental problems.

For example, 3-year-old Xiaomei (pseudonym) in Puli grew up in a family with intergenerational education. Xiaomei, who cannot speak, only plays with hens and puppies every day. After 10 months of home-based therapy services once a week, Xiaomei is no longer afraid of strangers, and can happily attend classes and play games with the home-based teacher, and show others her favorite picture books with simple sentences. Make grandparents feel comforted.
