According to the information given to APA by the Ministry, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, who delivered the introductory speech, emphasized the effective cooperation between our countries in the field of health and medical science.

It was reported that the Russian epidemiological school, which celebrated its 100th anniversary and is known for its experience and professional traditions, occupies one of the leading places in the world.

Teymur Musayev, touching on the topic of fighting against the infection of COVID-19, emphasized that the valuable recommendations of Russian experts contributed to the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in our republic.

In the end, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed his hope that the bilateral relations will continue to develop dynamically.

Expressing her gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, Anna Popova gave detailed information about the activities of the state service, which combines the functions of several ministries and departments of Russia.

He said that the institution he leads is interested in raising cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan to a higher level.

During the meeting held in the conditions of constructive and mutual understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare of the Russian Federation signed today "On ensuring epidemiological safety in areas with border natural foci of plague" and "International medical and sanitary regulations" (2005) on cooperation in the field of application" agreements will play an important role in the development of intersectoral cooperation between our countries.
