On November 10, the next coastal cleaning action was held with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva, vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, and volunteers.

The action held under the slogan "Keep the beaches clean" was organized in the Bilgah beach area of ​​Baku.

During the march, the participants of the action, equipped with the necessary sanitary equipment, cleaned the area of ​​a large amount of waste, especially plastic waste, which causes permanent damage.

The main purpose of the event is to promote the observance of cleanliness on the sea shores, to prevent littering of coastal areas with household waste, and to involve people in efforts to protect the marine environment.

It should be noted that in order to protect the unique biodiversity of the Caspian Sea and other water bodies of the Caucasus region, IDEA organizes regular measures aimed at cleaning and restoring polluted coastal areas.
