The cases of 11 people who were accused in connection with the "Tartar case" are being re-investigated.

According to the news obtained by APA, the preparatory meeting on the case was scheduled for today.

It is expected that preliminary hearings will be held at the Ganja Military Court today, and the case will be scheduled for review.

It should be noted that some time ago the case of 18 people who were arrested within the framework of the "Tartar case" was considered at the Plenum of the Supreme Court.

With the approval of the Prosecutor General's application in the plenum, sending the criminal cases related to the newly opened cases regarding the conviction of the convict Orujov Rauf Rashid oglu and others, as well as the convict Rzayev Nijat Gabil oglu and others under the 274 (treason) and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the appellate court for a new review a decision was made.

By the decision of the Ganja Court of Appeal, the verdicts against each of the 19 people were canceled.

The cases of 12 of them were returned to the Ganja Military Court, and the cases of 7 were returned to the Tartar Military Court.

The case of Emil Aliyev, one of the 12 convicts, will be investigated separately.
