The largest pink pear-shaped diamond ever to be auctioned could fetch up to $35 million at a Christie's auction on November 8, Reuters reported.

It is included in an auction of rare jewelry.

"The diamond is 18.18 carats ... There is already huge interest from all over the world," said Max Fawcett, head of jewelery at Christie's in Geneva.

"The color is exceptional. It's a real bright pink.... Something we haven't seen here at Christie's for a long time."

The fortune pink diamond is estimated to be worth between US$25 million and US$35 million.
