By the end of this week, the manufacturer Valneva's vaccines against COVID-19 will be delivered to regional health inspectorates in the country. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Health. Valneva is a vaccine created using traditional technology, it contains inactivated (killed) whole viral particles of the original SARS-CoV-2 strain, which cannot cause disease, the press service said.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has recommended a marketing authorization for the vaccine against COVID-19 (inactivated, adjuvanted) Valneva.
