On October 25, another yard renovated within the framework of the "Our yard" project implemented by the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, was made available to the residents.

According to the information given to APA by the Baku City Executive Authority, the renovated courtyard includes multi-storey buildings with 700 residents at 111, 11a Fatali Khan Khoyski Street, 11 and 13 Ahmed Rajabli Street, Baku City, Narimanov District.

The main goal of the "Our Yard" project is ecologically clean and beautification of yards in the country, restoration of greenery that is the pillar of urban ecology, formation of a healthy lifestyle, and creation of safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.

In the next courtyard, which was landscaped, the comfortable movement of disabled and disabled people was taken into account, and in order to create favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, to effectively spend their free time and to create a reflex for them to engage in systematic sports, a mini-football stadium with an artificial cover, a chess field, various sports were installed in the area. facilities, playgrounds have been built.

At the same time, 3 chat rooms, numerous seats, litter boxes, bird nests and cat houses have been installed in the area.

Taking into account the wishes and interests of the residents, new lighting poles and surveillance cameras were installed in the yard, the facades and blocks of the buildings were completely repaired, the asphalt and roof covering were renewed, and the electrical system was rebuilt.

In addition to the restoration of the existing greenery in the yard, 210 trees of different species and thousands of bushes were planted, and a green strip was laid on an area of ​​1,500 square meters.

In addition, "green barriers" were created around the yard by planting common stone ivy and other climbing plants.

Green fences consist of creeping, densely growing plant species such as common stone ivy that can effectively trap harmful dust particles in the air.

Such barriers are supposed to be planted mainly on the perimeter of public places, on fences, chats and buildings, respectively, which, along with coniferous, evergreen trees and other plants, will contribute to a significant reduction of air pollution.

Within the framework of the "Our Yard" project, it is requested to submit information and recommendations to the IDEA Public Union regarding the landscaping of the courtyards of common residential areas.
