The Food and Drug Administration pointed out that contact lens cleaning/maintenance solution is a second-class medical device, which can be divided into cleaning solution – cleaning lens, physiological saline – washing lens, preservation solution – soaking and disinfecting lens, and enzyme solution – protein removal.
