People who stole from phone shops were detained


in Shirvan, according to the information given to APA by the Shirvan regional group of the MIA press service, 11 mobile phones were seized two days ago from one of the mobile phone stores located in the city as a result of the operation and search measures carried out by the officers of the Shirvan City Police Department. Residents of Baku, Elbrus Zeynalov and Altay Kheirkhabarov, who were suspected of stealing 2 smart watches, 1 tablet, as well as various phone accessories, were detained.


During the interrogation, both persons confessed to the crime they had committed.


As a result of the operational measures conducted around the detained persons, their other crimes were also uncovered.

During the investigations, it was found that E. Zeynalov and A. Kheirkhabarov committed a similar theft incident in the territory of Shirvan city in the beginning of September, and by stealing 15 mobile phones and 1 tablet from one of the stores, they caused 5030 manats to the victim.

Those persons divided the money they got by selling the booty they got during both thefts at a lower price than their value.


A criminal case has been opened in the Investigation Department of the Shirvan City Police Department, and investigations are ongoing.


Police officers do not rule out the participation of those persons in similar crimes in other regions of the republic.
