The cassation appeal against the verdict against Vidadi Muradov, the former chairman of the Board of Directors of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, who died during the court investigation, was reviewed.

According to the news obtained by APA, in the complaint filed by Vidadi Muradov's family members, they requested to terminate the criminal case on exculpatory grounds and to exempt their property from confiscation.

The appeal on the case under the chairmanship of judge Aziz Seyidov in the Supreme Court was partially satisfied.

In connection with the criminal case of Vidadi Muradov, the decision regarding the properties pledged to the bank was annulled and returned to the Baku Court of Appeal for reconsideration.

The remaining parts of the decision were kept in force.

It should be noted that Muradov Vidadi Aydın oglu, the former chairman of the Board of Directors of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC, was arrested in an operation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Department under the General Prosecutor's Office. when the abuse leads to serious consequences) and the final charge was announced under articles 313 (falsification of office).

Vidadi Muradov, who was put under house arrest due to his oncological disease, died under house arrest on November 5 last year.

After that, the court recognized his wife as the legal heir.

By the judgment of the Baku Serious Crimes Court, the criminal case against Vidadi Muradov was terminated without exculpatory grounds.

In addition, Vidadi Muradov's 30 million worth of property belonging to himself and his relatives was confiscated to the state.

The Baku Court of Appeals upheld the verdict unchanged.
