Meet Ananya Singh of Prayagraj, who became an IAS officer at the age of just 22.

After preparing for only one year, she was able to crack the toughest exam of the country “Civil Services Examination” conducted by UPSC.

IAS Ananya Singh had secured the 51st All India Rank.

Ananya wanted to become an IAS officer since childhood.

He started preparing for UPSC exam in his final year of graduation.

In the beginning, she used to study for about 7-8 hours every day.

Later, she made a study time table of six hours and started preparing accordingly.

IAS Ananya Singh used to prepare for both preliminary and main examination of UPSC simultaneously.

He shared his strategy after clearing the UPSC exam.

Ananya first collected the books according to the syllabus, after that started the preparation.

Along with this, she also used to make hand notes.

According to him, there were two advantages of making notes, one that they were short and crisp, which helped a lot in preparation and revision.

Also, while writing notes, the answers are remembered.

Singh has always been a topper since childhood.

He did his schooling from St. Mary's Convent School, Prayagraj.

IAS Ananya Singh had secured 96 per cent marks in the 10th board examination, while in class 12 she had secured 98.25 per cent marks.

Ananya has been a district topper from CISCE board in both 10th and 12th.

After completing his schooling, Singh earned a bachelor's degree in Economics Honors from Shri Ram College of Commerce, affiliated to the University of Delhi.

He created history by securing 51st rank in UPSC CSE in the year 2019.

Singh says that after seeing the result of the civil examination, he himself could not believe his rank.

He had fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer at the age of just 22.
