The Ministry of Emergencies has released information about the fire that broke out in a multi-storey residential building on Lutfi Zade Street, Khatai region.

According to the information given to APA by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the "112" hotline received information about a fire in a multi-storey residential building on Lutfi Zade Street, Khatai district, Baku, and immediately the fire protection units of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Special Risk Rescuers of the Rescue Service were involved on call.

According to preliminary information, the fire broke out in the electrical cables passing through the shaft of the seventeen-story residential building.

Thanks to the urgent and urgent measures taken by the firefighters, the fire was extinguished in a short time without allowing it to spread to the apartments.

During the fire, the residents of the building were evacuated by the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
