The recording of Tsikhanovskaya's speech was published by the BBC.

During the conference ,

Svetlana Tsikhanovskaya

said that Belarusians "will not stop" until all political prisoners are released, all Russian soldiers leave Belarus, and trials for crimes against humanity are held.

"I will never rest until my children, all children, can live in a country free from fear, tyranny and war," she said.

Tsikhanovskaya addressed the representatives of the British Labor Party present in the hall with the words: "We need you, and we need each other... And we will win."

"It was Great Britain that immediately responded to the political crisis in Belarus," Tsikhanovskaya noted, and thanked the country for the assistance provided to Belarusians affected by repression in recent months.

Tsikhanovskaya also mentioned the role of Great Britain in supporting the struggle of Ukraine.

"Britain must continue to lead the global fight against tyranny and oppression.

People all over the world look to you as a force.

Together, we are at the forefront of the fight for democracy."

In her speech, she also talked about the journalist

Andrey Alexandrov

, a police prisoner, whose trial is currently being held in Belarus in closed session.

She noted that Aleksandrov is a fan of the Liverpool football club and, as the Daily Star tabloid wrote, in order to maintain a positive mood, he sings the song "You'll Never Walk Alone" in the cell every day, which is the anthem of his favorite club.

"Aleksandrav is one of those who inspire me to continue the struggle," the politician emphasized.
