The names of schoolchildren who died and were injured as a result of a lightning strike in Kazakhstan have been revealed.

According to the local bureau of APA, Nuray Osmanova, a sixth-grade student of Birinci Shikhli village secondary school, her sister, Ayan Osmanova, a fourth-grade student, and their relatives, Afsana Mammadzadeh, a fifth-grade student, were struck by lightning.

As a result, Nuray Osmanova died on the spot from her injuries.

His sister and relative were placed in the Kazakh Treatment and Diagnostic Center.

Afsana Mammadzadeh was discharged home after outpatient examination and treatment.

Ayan Osmanova is being treated in the intensive care unit.

Two children were struck by lightning in Kazakh.

In response to APA's inquiry, the Kazakh Treatment and Diagnostic Center said that two people were admitted to the medical facility today as a result of a lightning strike.

"The victim, who was born in 2011, was brought to the hospital dead.

Another victim - a patient born in 2012, continues to be treated in the intensive care unit.

Currently, his condition is moderate," it was noted.
