Queen Maxima, 51, and her eldest daughter Princess Amalia, 18, looked stunning at their annual Prinsjesdag (Prince's Day) speech in parliament.

At the event, King Willem-Alexander outlined the government's agenda for yesterday's meeting.

The annual ceremony is held on the third Tuesday of every September and was attended for the first time by Princess Amalia of Orange, the future Queen of the Netherlands.

The 55-year-old king was wearing a tailcoat with a pin of the Military Order of Wilhelm, the highest honor of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Queen Maxima dressed in a gray coat with an interesting cut, which shimmered beautifully in the sun, completing the look with gloves and a pillbox hat, a diamond set, a bracelet on her wrist and a red manicure.

Maxima also had a belt and a star of the Order of the Netherlands Lion, the highest award of the Netherlands.

Princess Katharine Amalia wore a pleated V-neck dress from ASOS for just £86 and a powder hat.

And she also complemented the look with a necklace and earrings with emeralds, several gold bracelets and a bright manicure, like her mother's.

Amalia also chose the diamond stars and sash and star of the Order of the Netherlands Lion.

By the way, this emerald necklace and earrings has a long Dutch royal history and was made around 1900.

They are believed to have once belonged to Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia in the 18th century.

The entire parure now belongs to Dutch royalty, including earrings, a brooch, a necklace and a huge duck egg cabochon pendant.

Princess Laurentin chose a pale pink ensemble that day, consisting of a coat-dress with a belt and a flower in her hair.

On the chest of the princess flaunted a large necklace of pink stones.

For the event, the royal family arrived in a golden carriage from Nordeinde Palace in the Schauburg Palace in The Hague.

The King and Queen were greeted with military honors before they made their way to the throne, where King Willem-Alexander delivered his annual speech to parliament, setting out the government's agenda for the coming session.

After that, the royal family returned to Nordeind Palace, where they appeared on the balcony.
