Princess Elizabeth became Queen on February 6, 1952, the day her father, King George VI, died at the age of 25.

From the day of her death, September 8, 2022, the throne passed to her eldest son Charles.

He was born in 1948 and waited for his turn on the throne for 70 years.

It is unlikely that Charles III will rule for too long, although it should not be forgotten that the British royal family lives long-lived.

His wife Camilla will become queen consort after her husband's coronation, this title was given to her by Elizabeth II herself in February 2022.

We talked about it in more detail in the article, what the new title means for the Duchess of Cornwall.

When he was 15 years old, his mother crashed in a car accident.

William graduated from the University of St. Andrews with honors and in this surpassed his father Charles, a graduate of Cambridge.

Now William performs royal duties and is engaged in charity work.

In 2011, he married his old friend Kate Middleton, who after the wedding received the title of Duchess of Cambridge.
