The international fair of tourist entertainment and animations returns with its ninth edition in Yambol after a two-year hiatus.

It will take place from September 23 to 25 on two stages - in the city center and in the Archaeological Reserve "Thracian and Ancient City of Kabyle".

The three-day event is part of the European Heritage Days.

The fair will be opened with the joint Bulgarian-Polish exhibition "From the steppes to the Balkans..." of the Regional History Museum in Yambol and the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology at the Polish Academy of Sciences, Krakow branch.

It presents significant archaeological discoveries and finds from burial mounds during the joint expedition along the middle course of the Tunja from 2018 to 2021. The opening of the exhibition is on September 23, at 19:00, in Kulturno - the information center "Bezisten" in Yambol , museum spokesperson Kremena Dimova told BTA.

A special guest that evening will be the artistic troupe "Flyers - fire and light show".

They will present the futuristic light show "Quazar", created with the financial support of the National Culture Fund.

The fire spectacle awaits the public on September 23, at 8:30 p.m., on the square in front of the Municipality.

In the dramatic plot of the play is the idea of ​​the struggle for supremacy, and the main focus is the unification of forces.

The action takes place in a time when humanity and aliens want to explore new territories.

History will be recreated using the latest lighting props.

The troupe also has a number of performances abroad - in Romania, Serbia, Greece, North Macedonia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, Great Britain and Germany.

She was awarded twice by the Union of Artists in Bulgaria - with an honorary gold badge for "Outstanding contribution to the development of a fire and light show in Bulgaria", and for the performances "The Last Wedding of the Tsar" and "Quazar" supported by the National Fund "Culture" .

"Pagliachi" is also among the laureates of the prestigious national awards "Icarus" in 2022.

During the three days of the fair, the Kabile Archaeological Reserve will be the stage for gladiator fights, training duels, competition in Olympic sports, children's workshops and workshops.

This year, seven historical reenactment groups from Bulgaria and Serbia will participate.

Individual reenactors will also participate in ancient and medieval demonstrations.

The program also includes "theatre on a chest", "theatre of shadows" and a fashion show of medieval clothing.

Guests will also have the opportunity to visit the advertising stands of the "Kabile 2022" Tourist Exhibition.
