Brahmastra Box Office Collection Day 1

The audience was eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's film Brahmastra.

Eventually the film also released on Friday.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars veteran actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna.

Not only this, special appearances of Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have also been seen in the film.

As it was already being speculated that Brahmastra will rock the big screen as soon as it is released.

Exactly the same thing happened.

On the very first day, the movie has managed to make a tremendous collection at the box office.

Ranbir and Alia's Brahmastra has managed to earn around Rs 30-32 crore (Hindi) at the box office on the very first day of its release.

The film has also set a record by making such a huge collection even without the holiday.

In this way, Brahmastra has now defeated the earlier blockbuster films Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai and Dhoom-3 in the opening day collection.

Not only in India, but outside India also the film has managed to earn well.

Brahmastra was released on 83 screens in Australia and the film has managed to earn more than one crore on the first day there.

Also, the film released on 23 screens in New Zealand has managed to earn more than 16 lakhs.

In terms of opening day earnings, Brahmastra has also left behind Suryavanshi, which was released on the occasion of Diwali last year.

While the Hindi version of the film has collected more than 32 crores on the first day of release, its South version has also got success in collecting more than 5 crores.

It is believed that within just 3 days, Brahmastra will easily cross the 100 crore mark on this weekend.
