The Kosovar Electricity Distribution Company (KEDS) announces that the electricity supply situation is worsening.

KEDS points out that from the failure of the A3 unit of the "Kosova A" thermal power plant, less than 400 megawatts are currently being produced in the country

"The Operator of the System, Transmission and Electricity Market of Kosovo (KOSTT) has today requested from KEDS that, as a result of the fall from the system of unit A3, to make emergency restrictions of electricity.

This means that less than 400 megawatts are currently produced in the country, which makes the situation not favorable at all.

Faced with emergency restrictions, it will be very difficult to notify all consumers in time, for which we ask for their understanding", says the announcement of KEDS.

In order not to worsen the situation with electricity, KEDS asks consumers to save it.

"Currently, the restrictions are for two hours, but so that the situation does not get worse, we ask all consumers to save electricity as much as possible.

Using it efficiently means that we all have more electricity.

In these difficult circumstances, we must act united in order to overcome them as soon as possible.

Together we can succeed", concludes the company.
