For the fifth time in a row, the workers of the company "Kosova Thëngjilli" are protesting.

Dozens of workers of this company are standing for more than four hours in front of the facility of the Ministry of Economy.

They are seeking to return to work after the suspension of work by the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK).

The workers entered twice with an invitation for a meeting, but in neither case were they received by Minister Artane Rizvanolli.

The chairman of the shareholders of the company "Kosova Thëngjilli", Imri Restelica, who was hosted by the councilor Vullnet Gacaferri, said that they do not hope for a solution to their problem.

"I asked for the possibility of continuing the work and found an opportunity, however based on the talks, he will convey to the minister all these problems that we have.

However, it can be seen that this problem is very big, not only for the ministry, but even bigger.

Through the company of KEK and Kosova Thëngjilli, according to them, 'we cannot intervene too much, because we have to consult with the legal office and talk further'", he announced to the protesters.

According to him, over 160 workers were unjustly left without a job.

However, Restelica said that it has not received any concrete answer.

"Until we have another official meeting, I cannot say that we have positivity and positive words that something can be done."

They didn't give a certain deadline and time", he added.

The protesters are outraged by the approach of the ministry officials, for which they have requested a meeting with the Minister Artane Rizvanolli.

"We have been protesting for years without any solution, if you solve the problem for us.

We are not asking for more or less.

But, we are looking for the morsel of the mouth, how the minister interrupted us.

Who is from KEK?

The government can make the immediate settlement of 160 workers.

We are dependent on this ministry, if it is the minister of state", stated Behxhet Fejza.

Dozens of workers, who have been standing in front of the Ministry of Economy building since morning, are expressing their indignation.

They say that they will stay all day on the street, until they meet with Minister Rizvanolli.

Two workers of the company "Kosova Thëngjilli" were invited to the meeting again, but were not received by the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli.

The production engineer, Petrit Muleta, has called for the minister to wait for them in the meeting, otherwise they will enter with violence.

"They are not interested in giving us a solution, so we will insist again.

We will not leave here without the minister.

'This is not the competence of the ministry', we know very well the competences of this ministry.

Imriu is good to convey to the law enforcement agencies that we will insist on going directly to the minister.

No, we will not try to enter by force", he said.

Members of the Kosovo police, since the beginning of the protest, have been standing in front of the entrance of the ministry's facility.

Engineer Ramadan Berisha said that they have been out of work for two months now and that they are in a bad social situation.

"160 workers at this time have no more work, they have been working for 40 years, it is the same as being deprived of life.

In this economic situation, the social situation is as if deprived of life.

For example, we are becoming a burden to society, we are passing from a state where we were able to contribute to the state, we are passing to a social state where we have to depend on the state", he said.

The protest of the workers of the company "Kosova Thëngjilli" is being held for the fifth time with the request for the return to work.

The same is planned to be held until 16:00.
