NASA shared a wonderful picture of the planet lit up with the light

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope is an infrared space observatory, which was launched a year ago.

The telescope's first full-color photos and spectroscopic data were released just last month.

Since then the Instagram page dedicated to the telescope also occasionally shares amazing photos.

Just like these images of Jupiter are.

NASA shared two incredible photos of our neighboring planet Jupiter, writing, "Make way for the King of the Solar System!"

These pictures taken by the NASA Webb Telescope show the celestial body in a completely different light.

Chances are that the post shared by the space agency will surprise you.

“New web photos of Jupiter reveal the planet's features, including its turbulent Great Red Spot, in amazing detail.

These images were processed by citizen scientist Judy Schmidt.

In the first picture, Jupiter dominates the black background of space.

The image is a composite, and shows Jupiter in enhanced color.

The planet's Great Red Spot appears white here.

Planet neon is striped with horizontal stripes of turquoise, periwinkle, pale pink and cream.

The stripes are interacting and blending on their sides like cream in coffee.

Along both poles, the planet glows in turquoise.

Bright orange auroras shine just above the planet's surface at both poles.
