Svoboda journalist and political prisoner Ihar Losik was transferred to the place of execution at the beginning of the summer - to the Novopolatsk colony.

He spent all his previous time behind bars in various pre-trial detention centers.

Ihar's relatives have not yet been able to get a meeting with him at the new place.

Communication takes place through correspondence and telephone.

In the colonies, prisoners have the opportunity to call relatives.

According to Daria Losik, letters from her husband are not bad, but Igor himself receives messages only from his wife, brother and parents.

"I receive 3-4 letters from Igor a week," says Daria.

- They walk quite fast.

He still has the same.

Works, goes through plastic "bubbles".

Nothing has changed with this.

Igor also wrote that he was given some drugs to reduce blood pressure.

I handed Igor's medical records to the colony, there was a diagnosis of arterial hypertension.

I asked if there are any side effects from the drugs.

He says no, that everything is not bad."

According to Daria, Igor feels better in the colony, he even tanned a little.

A political prisoner works in a closed room, but sometimes there is an opportunity to go out into the sun.

In this, the colony is very different from the pre-trial detention center, where Igor stayed for almost two years.

"With whom Igor is serving a sentence together, who is with him in the squad, Igor never wrote," says Darya.

- I somehow tried to write to him about economic news.

About GDP, about exports.

But all that was deleted.

In the colony, correspondence is checked even more strictly than it was in the pre-trial detention center.

About everyday life, about my daughter, about relatives - it's all enough, there are no questions.

But if we talk about world news or Belarusian news, then no.

I don't write like that anymore.

They simply won't hand over the letters, but I want to be in touch with Igor."

Darya Losik says that she also knows little about Igor's routine.

The only thing is that Igor has less free time in the colony, he occupies it with answering letters.

Igor Losik works six days a week, only one day off - Sunday.

Daria was already in Navopolatsk, carrying a 50-kilogram package to her husband.

There is no news about a possible meeting with him yet.

Daria very much hopes that she will be able to get a long-term meeting with her husband.

The new thing is that Igor can call his family home and talk to them by voice.

Svoboda's journalist calls his wife twice a week.

The last time Daria spoke to Igor was on August 4, he called at 7:00 p.m., and we managed to talk for five minutes.

"I have time to find out if everything is fine with Igor," says Daria.

- Igor can call his parents, brother, me, daughter Paulina.

But Paulina lives with me, so there is only one call here.

Unfortunately, it turned out that when Igor called, Paulina was not around.

And it's only five minutes, I didn't have time to call her.

If it succeeds, I will, of course, turn on the speakerphone for her."

In mid-July, bailiffs came to Igor's home in Baranavichy.

They showed Daria a document according to which they have the right to seize the property in order to repay Igor's debt to the state.

According to Daria Losik, there were no new visits by bailiffs to her.

Daria assumes that they will still come, but it will not happen very often.

"Let them come," she says.

- I'm not going to resist them, it's pointless.

The amount is very large, and I don't know what can be confiscated in our apartment to cover it.

During the sentencing, 2 million 660 thousand rubles were announced, but there were also confiscated money from Tikhonovsky and his equipment.

Therefore, I cannot say exactly how much they want to charge Igor.

I do not yet see the amount that they want to recover from Igor Aleksandrovich Losik.

I would be happy to learn about her."
