COVID-19 in our country: 1,636 new cases in 24 hours

The confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in our country are currently 1,221,519. The active cases are 24,989. The cured persons are a total of 1,159,070, of which 2,553 were registered in the last 24 hours.

A total of 1,064 patients with proven coronavirus infection were admitted to medical facilities for hospital care.

48 of them are located in intensive structures.

There are 173 persons newly admitted to the hospital. Of them, 75.72% have not been vaccinated, the Unified Information Portal shows.

4,493,043 are the total doses of the vaccines against COVID-19 administered in our country so far.

2,933 of them were applied in the last 24 hours.

According to the National Information System, the new coronavirus has been confirmed in a total of 25,306 medical workers.

31 new cases were registered in the past 24 hours, of which seven were found among doctors, ten - among nurses, five - among paramedics, two - among paramedics and seven - among other medical personnel.

There are 37,460 people who died with the coronavirus infection. Nine new cases were registered during the past 24 hours.

88.89% of the deceased persons were not vaccinated.
