The deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Avdullah Hoti, through a reaction, said that the lack of revision of the budget will negatively affect capital expenditures.

According to Hoti, this will consequently have an effect on employment and income.

"The lack of revision of the budget will negatively affect capital expenditures and therefore the economy, employment and income.

The governing majority presented the number of laws approved in the Assembly as an achievement.

But he did not mention the fact that one of the most important laws, which is the review of the budget for 2022, has not been submitted to the Assembly by the Government", writes Hoti, Telegraph reports.

The former prime minister of Kosovo emphasizes that capital expenditures in the first six months of the year are at the lowest historical level.

"Capital expenditures in the first six months of the year are at the lowest historical level, with only 11 percent realization.

Therefore, it has been necessary to revise the budget to redistribute it to projects that can be realized.

With this very low dynamics of budget realization in the first six months, and in the absence of budget revision, it is certain that the implementation of capital projects this year will be very low.

This will mean hundreds of millions of shortfalls in economic circulation in the country, which will negatively affect economic growth, employment and general income", he emphasizes.
