Fan Steve Dutton, who was on the receiving end of the kind gesture from Saint Maximin, said on Twitter: “I was the person who took my watch from ASM.
I was completely speechless.
I thought he was coming to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids.
I'm still in shock, I can't thank Saint Maximin enough."
This wasn't the first time Saint Maximin donated a watch to a fan, he did the same in December 2021.
Newcastle had just recorded their first Premier League win of the season against Burnley and gave a fan a £2,000 (€2,300) watch after the game.
