New Delhi:

Ganga, the mind is not satisfied just by saying this, it is done by saying mother Ganga.

But when Maa Ganga is pronounced in politics, then its sentiment is not always the same as it is in the beliefs of religion and culture.

In 2014, Maa Ganga had called.

Along with sending lakhs of rupees to everyone's account, the calling of Mother Ganga in that election also became a big symbol.

The result of that was that when the Namami Gange project was announced in 2015, there was hope that Ganga would be well.

Ganga remained at the center of priority due to politics.

But when the 2019 elections came, the Bharatiya Janata Party had announced 75 resolutions for the country for the 75th year of independence.

Confidence was expressed to fulfill these 75 resolutions by 15th August 2022 when the country would be celebrating 75th year of independence.

How many days are left in 15th August?

In this list, it is written on the number worn that the income of the farmers will be doubled.

What happened?

It is at number 73 that by August 15, 2022, the Ganga will become clean, what happened? The target of number one has been fulfilled,

Not number 73.

In 2014 manifesto also BJP had promised that Ganga will be cleaned on priority basis. The question is how did the priority of 2014 reach number 73 in 2019?

In the list of 75 resolutions, the matter of cleaning Maa Ganga got 73rd place.

If BJP wants, it can re-read the manifesto and remember Prime Minister Modi's speech in which he says that there can be no discussion of India without Ganga.

Regrettably, Dinesh Khatik, the Minister of State in the BJP government, writes a letter to Amit Shah, stating that there is a lot of corruption in Namami Gange.

The media accepted it as a political statement of the minister, but did not question why the minister made political use of Ganga.

We thought that newspapers in UP would be flooded with news about Namami Gange's claims of corruption, it did not happen.

Even though a lot of work has been done under the Namami Gange project, it would not be right to say that nothing has happened but there is silence on this.

Why, after seven years of Namami Gange, the National Green Tribunal has to say that half the water in the Ganges is falling without cleaning it.

Means Ganga is not getting cleaned.

The tribunal has also said that the state authorities are not doing a good job, the National Ganga Mission is not in a position to take strict action against them.

According to BJP's manifesto, Ganga was to be cleaned in 2022.

In 2019, BJP wrote it as a milestone that when the country would be celebrating the 75th year of independence, the Ganges would have been cleaned, but how many times was the cleaning of the Ganges remembered during the Amrit Mahotsav?

The letter information office has made Ganga anthem.

It was uploaded on YouTube on 12 July 2016.

This Ganges anthem, composed in 2016, is very impressive. Music has been composed and composed by Sri Krishna Mohan and Ramkumar Mohan, popularly known as the Thrissur Brothers, the greats of Carnatic music.

It is directed by Dipika Chandrasekaran.

PIB has issued it in public interest.

Quite well made.

I wish Ganga gets cleaned like this, will it be so clean?

This video has been made professionally.

Its quality is very good.

On hearing this, you start flowing in the flow of emotion and forget that the Minister of State of UP has accused of rampant corruption in the Namami Gange project.

Are there people who can do corruption in the matter of Ganga even after watching the Ganga anthem?

But where are those people who had promised that by 2022, the Ganga would become clean.

That's why it's time to recite the Ganga anthem made by him to those people so that when they think about the Ganges, they think so beautiful, but when it comes to giving the account of the work, no one tells that 2020 (2022?) Half has passed, why is the Ganges not cleaned?

In 2019, the BJP had decided in its manifesto that in 2022, the Ganga would become clean.

From 3:03 to 5:38 I mean in every drop of yours…. I have found a flowing love… You have to walk on your body, purify your mind too, the way you touch it, give it water from life, everyone has brought the bus. Hand over the sin to you, yet you keep on flowing, hugging everyone, always go to the nectar by swinging you, Prasida… Prasida… Prasida… Namami Gange… Namami Gange….

Even if you don't look at it from politics or religion, even then the heart is attached to the Ganges.

Rather, the heart gets attached to the rivers like this.

Some want Brahmaputra in the same way and some also like Narmada, but is it not our failure that even after so many plans for Ganga, she could not become clean.

All of us are not doing khaanapurti, made a Ganga anthem, then forgot about it.

The campaign of Ganga is going on since 2015, even after this, the officials of the UP Pollution Board could not tell in the Allahabad High Court how much money UP has got under Namami Gange, why the river is not getting cleaned, Jagran about the court hearing It is reported that the court has asked that Adani's company is cleaning in Prayagraj, but the government has made an agreement with it in such a way that the river will not be cleaned.

According to the report of Jagran, the court said that the Ganga will not be cleaned due to such an agreement.

The court even said that the pollution board should be dissolved if they do not clean the river. And this news from above, the minister is saying that there is corruption in Namami Gange.

Since then there has been no statement from Dinesh Khatik regarding Namami Gange.

The issue of cleaning the Ganga is a very serious matter. The Ganga Action Plan is going on since 1986.

In 2018, Prof G D Agarwal fasted for 111 days to stop mining in Ganga.

After that he died.

He gave his life for Ganga.

After all, why does the Green Tribunal have to say that half the water is falling into the Ganges without being cleaned.

Whereas Namami Gange is running since 2015 as a scheme.

Prior to this, on 4 November 2008, Manmohan Singh had given the status of a national river to Ganga.

If the Modi government had done the same thing, then every year on November 4, Ganga Day would have been celebrated, but then Manmohan Singh announced it without any frills.

With this the National Ganga River Basin Authority was established.

The Prime Minister was made its chairman.

A year after the declaration of a national river, the Times of India wanted to know how much difference has been made after declaring Ganga as a national river.

In this report, Dr BD Tripathi, member of the River Basin Authority, has said that the Prime Minister has called a meeting of the Authority and a year after declaring the National River a lot of work has been done.

But in the same report, the head of Ganga Research Lab at BHU, Dr UK Choudhary expressed his disappointment and said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should make a constitution of Ganga.

In the same report, Jairam Ramesh's environment minister's statement in Parliament that Ganga and Yamuna have become more dirty than before in 20 years, while 1700 crores have been spent on cleaning them.

This is 2009.

Seeing the series of announcements regarding Namami Gange, it seems that the government never forgot this scheme.

Isn't it that much attention is focused on motivation, how to motivate people

The central government made the famous cartoon character Chacha Chaudhary as the mascot of the National Clean Ganga Mission.

In October last year, on the pretext of Chacha Chaudhary, to create awareness among children and people about cleaning the Ganga.

Before showing the video of Chacha Chaudhary, let us also tell that there is a budget for creating awareness and research under this campaign.

But in March this year, the Parliamentary Standing Committee has said in its report that Rs 284 crore was approved between 2014 and 2021 to create awareness about this campaign.

how is this money spent

The CAG has written that all the advertisements regarding the Ganga campaign were to be issued through the Directorate of DAVP Advertising and Visual Publicity but it has been found that the National Mission for Clean Ganga has engaged other advertising agencies and issued the advertisement of PRIT through them.

In return, several lakh rupees were given to those agencies as commission.

It was not done as per the policy set by the government.

This was reported by Banjot Kaur in Down to Earth in 2018. We told you from the same report that after the formation of the National Ganga Mission in 2016, there should have been three meetings till 2018, but one took place. Now come uncle On Chaudhary.

He has no relation with Ganga but Chacha Chaudhary is no less than anyone in terms of popularity.

The PIB press release dated 1 October 2021 states that in the 37th executive meeting of the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), it was decided to make Chacha Chaudhary as the mascot so that children can be made aware.

Its budget has been kept a budget of two and a half crores.

In the same press release, there is information about UP that a sewer line of 12,472 km will be laid.

It will be connected to the STP plant.

In the first phase, the sewer line work of 7.60 km has been completed and work of 4,872 km is in progress.

This is information for October 2021.

In April this year, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had tweeted that 25 out of 46 projects of Ganga Abhiyan were completed.

19 is in progress.

All the projects are being completed in a time bound manner.

Half the water that falls into the Ganges is not clean, says Green Tribunal.

In 2015, the Modi cabinet had approved an expenditure of Rs 20,000 crore over the next five years.

In 2019, BJP had promised in its manifesto that Ganga would be cleaned in 2022.

Justice Adesh Kumar Goel, chairman of the National Green Tribunal, has said that the water of the Ganges should be so clean that people can not only take a bath but can also pray.

There is news of Himanshu Jha in today's India that the water of Ganga is not even fit to be used at 97 places.

Sewage water is still falling at 60 places.

In Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal, 40 percent of the sewage generated every day is treated as sewage.

The rest falls directly into the Ganges.

Because 226 sewage treatment plants are working below their capacity. There are 118 STPs in UP.

Working at 83 percent capacity is not such a bad record, but Ganga is not getting cleaned, it is also a fact.

According to this report, many STPs are not working according to the rules and standards.

Our colleague Ajay Singh has done a report from Banaras.

The Allahabad High Court has said that when the UP Pollution Control Board is not able to investigate and take action on the pollution happening in the Ganga, then there is no justification for its formation. Why should the pollution control board be abolished.

A three-judge broad bench of the High Court hearing the matter has asked the Director General to submit within a month the full details of the billions spent in making Ganga clean and clean.

At the same time, he has also been asked to tell why the Ganga has not been cleaned yet despite spending billions of rupees.

Between 2019-23, a target of 127 projects was set for sewage treatment plant, ghat and crematorium, out of which 80 have been completed.

1580 km long sewage line has been laid.

82 Ghat has been renovated.

development has taken place.

20 crematoriums have been built.

Plantation has been done in an area of 30,000 hectares.

More than 56 lakh fish have been released into the river.

930 turtles have been released.

The campaign to clean the Ganges is going on for 37 years, but the cleaning of the Ganges seems far from the destination.

15th August 2022 is coming, for this BJP had set 75 resolutions.

These days the discussion of those 75 resolutions is not heard, a new discussion has come in its place. The tricolor campaign from house to house has gained momentum.

Where is the people going to hoist the tricolor, where should they go to see the Ganges, the Ganges has become clean,

Saurav Shukla is in Gujarat.

There has been more than 50 people drinking poisonous liquor here. More than 100 people are fighting for life and death in the hospital, but despite this big accident, country liquor is being sold indiscriminately despite the ban in all the cities of Gujarat. And home delivery of liquor is also done…..

A case of vaccinating 40 children with a single injection has come to light in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.

Many times such things are not understood why it happened, there is no shortage of injection, even a doctor who is not a nurse knows that the chain and needle are thrown away after the injection.

how come such a mistake

Discussions are going on on the misuse of ED's powers.

Today, the special court set up for money laundering has pulled up the ED.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Nagendra Sharma has given this information by tweeting.

According to him, in the case of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, it has been said that Jain is not even a director of any company, then how can he be made the main accused?

The PMLA court also said that the photo brought by the ED cannot be treated as evidence.

Even after this, if someone says that the law is doing its job, then you should understand for whom the law is working.
