Restoration of the unique "Gatling" machine guns has begun in the courtyard of the "Pleven Liberation Museum".

There are only a few such machine guns preserved in Bulgaria, mainly in Pleven.

Ukraine received anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles from Germany and Estonia

The Gatling gun is American made and during the Russo-Turkish War the Americans sold it to both the Russians and the Turks, so both sides had this weapon.

The machine gun that is currently being restored is Russian-made under an American license.

Heavy and difficult to use, these weapons were soon thrown out of use as not particularly effective.

However, they achieved a rate of fire of 800 rounds per minute, which was impressive for its time.

On the basis of the "Gatling" system, machine guns are currently being produced that can fire 3,000 shots per minute, Bulfoto Agency reports.
