Travis Barker has reacted for the first time since reports that he was rushed to a hospital.

The drummer of "Blink-182" and the husband of Kourtney Kardashian revealed what happened and what was the process he went through during his stay in the hospital.

Barker took to his Instagram and Twitter accounts to explain the latest details of what happened.

I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great.

But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.

His health condition has worried many followers, even fearing for his life.

Some sources pointed out that the drummer had severe stomach pains, which prevented him from going to the hospital.

It is not the first time that he is faced with a difficult situation.

In 2008, he suffered a plane crash where his friends lost their lives.

During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.

This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis.

Travis Barker's message on his social networks:

"On Monday I underwent an endoscopy which made me feel good.

But after dinner I had excruciating pain and since then I have been hospitalized," he said.

During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually treated by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.

This resulted in severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.

I am very, very grateful that with the intensive treatment I am currently much better", concluded the artist.
