A commemorative meeting is being held at the National Theater of Kosovo for the director, Vjosa Berisha.

In honor of the life and work of the famous producer, the memorial meeting was opened by the Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama.

Rama has expressed condolences as he emphasizes that there are few words to describe Vjosa as an artist and the contribution he has given to art and culture.

"Words are lacking to ease the pain for the death of director Vjosa Berisha, I agree with you in these difficult days and for all those who have known Vjosa.

"The artistic community lost an icon, a strong voice, a diligent producer, a leader in the field of art and cinematography," he said.

"Without it, Prishtina does not breathe the same, we will feel this lack in PriFest and in many areas and in the days to come.

Vjosa has left deep traces in the cultural life of the capital.

It has always highlighted values.

Vjosa has brought to Pristina artists and films of world level, indescribable energy, beautifying our city and giving us unforgettable emotions.

He has always given himself positive energy and love in everything he has done.

She lived every moment.

Without Vjosa, I am no longer the same.

And I miss him right now.

"Let the soil of Kosovo be light", he said.

Along with Rama, Uka was also reminded by her close friend, producer Yll Uka.

"It is a very painful and sad moment to greet Vjosa Berisha, who gave so much to culture and art.

"Only a lady like Vjosa managed to create a festival like the Prishtina Film Festival, which made a festival of world proportions", said Uka.
