Samrat Prithviraj is releasing on this OTT platform

Amazon Prime Video has announced the exclusive streaming premiere of 'Samrat Prithviraj', an action-drama based on historical events.

All Prime Video members in India as well as 240 countries across the world can enjoy exclusive streaming of the film in Hindi as well as Tamil and Telugu languages ​​on Amazon Prime Video from July 1, 2022.

Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film is produced by Yash Raj Films, starring Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar.

'Samrat Prithviraj' is the third film under a licensing deal with Yash Raj Films to premiere on Prime Video after 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' and 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. 

Akshay Kumar said, 'In my career of three decades, I have never got a chance to play a role in such a big historical film before.

It is a great honor for me to play the role of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan on the big screen.

I am extremely excited that this historical story is now reaching door-to-door via Amazon Prime Video from 1st July, and I am glad that viewers across the world will be able to share the story of a great warrior and mighty king of India, Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, through this medium. Superstar Akshay Kumar has played the lead role in this action drama based on historical events, which is based on the epic 'Prithviraj Raso' written by poet Chandbardai.
