The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) is expected to review the application for a permit to operate in the north of the country to Drustvo Elektrosever.

According to ERO, on Friday starting from 13:00, out of 24 items on the agenda, one of them is the review of the application for a license for electricity supply to the Serbian company, writes Telegrafi.

"Review of the request / application for issuance of license for Electricity Supply for Drustvo Elektrosever DOO", it is stated in item 7 of the agenda.

Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by Brussels, managed to sign the Energy Agreement on Tuesday.

The agreement stipulates that ERO will issue the supply license to Elektrosovever.

After that, Elektrosovever will provide KEDS and KOSTT with the latest data available to consumers, through the EU.

"ERO will issue the license for supply to Elektrosovever.

ERO will ensure compliance with the conditions set out in the supply license, in accordance with the legal and regulatory framework of Kosovo ", it is stated in the first point of the Roadmap.

"Within seven days from the issuance of the supply license, Elektrosever will provide KEDS and KOSTT with the latest data available to consumers, through the EU", it is emphasized in the next point.

Kosovo had previously agreed to give Elektrosever a permit to operate in the north of the country.

Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, and Serbia's Petar Petkovic signed the Roadmap for the implementation of the 2013 and 2015 energy agreements on Tuesday.

This company is registered with the Business Registration Agency in Kosovo since November 2018. Its owner turns out to be the Serbian state.

According to KBRA data, the Serbian public company for production, supply and trade of electricity JP Elektroprivreda Srbije, owns 100 percent of the shares of Drustvo Elektrosever, where Boban Novakovic is registered as director of this company, which as a primary activity has the electricity trade.
