Army has taken out vacancies for Agniveers in six categories.

Agniveer Recruitment 2022: Amidst

controversy and protests over the 'Agneepath' recruitment policy in the Army, the Indian Army today (Monday, June 20) issued a notification for recruitment under the new rules.

According to the notification, the registration for the recruitment rallies in the army is starting from July next month.

Interested applicants will have to complete the registration process by visiting the official website of Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Agniveer Recruitment 2022: 6 Category Posts:


According to the notification, Army has taken out vacancies for Agniveers in six categories.

Agniveers will be recruited in these categories and posts.


Agniveer General Duty


Agniveer Technical (Aviation/Ammunition)


Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper Technical


Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass


Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass

Agniveer Recruitment 2022: Post, Qualification and Age:


For the post of Agniveer General Duty, the qualification of the candidates has been kept as 10th pass.

It will be mandatory for him to get at least 45% marks in 10th, as well as 33 percent marks in all subjects is necessary.

The age of the applicants for this post has been fixed from 17.5 to 23 years.

For Agniveer Technical and Agniveer Aviation and Ammunition Examiner posts, applicants must have passed 12th with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English subjects.

For this post also the age of the applicants has been fixed from 17.5 to 23 years.

For the posts of Agniveer Clerk / Storekeeper Technical, it is necessary for the candidates to have 12th pass.

Applicants must have passed with minimum 60% marks in any stream but 50% marks in English and Mathematics are required.

For this post also the age of the applicants has been fixed from 17.5 to 23 years.

Applicants of 10th and 8th pass (both types) can apply for two types of posts of Agniveer Tradesman.

They should have 33% marks in all subjects.

The prescribed age limit for these posts is 17.5 years to 23 years.
