The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, in a press conference after the meeting with her counterpart from Turkey, Mevlut Çavusoglu, announced that Kosovo and Turkey have signed an agreement today to increase the frequency of flights.

"It is very to be welcomed the agreement signed today by the ministers regarding the increase of the frequency of flights between Kosovo and Turkey", she said.

The agreement was signed by Infrastructure Minister Liburn Aliu and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Gërvalla, assessed that it is a pleasure for him that someone like Minister Çavusoglu, visits Kosovo as he knows very well the history of Kosovo and the genocide experienced.

"As always, it is a pleasure to welcome a counterpart and a good friend of Kosovo, who knows well the history of oppression and genocide in Kosovo and who in all his movements in the region does not forget the experience not only historical but also very "Fresh genocide in the region," she said.

Minister Gërvalla announced that they also talked with her Turkish counterpart about the cooperation in the field of health, the treatment of medical staff in Turkey and the treatment of patients from Kosovo, not leaving aside the cooperation in the field of education.

"We also talked with Minister Çavusoglu about Turkey's commitment in the field of education and we want to expand this cooperation.

"I also expressed my gratitude to the Government of Turkey for the assistance in the field of health, for providing free treatment to patients from Kosovo and for the training opportunities offered to health care workers," she said.

She finally invited Minister Çavusoglu, also for investments in Kosovo.
