BNP reports on the results of a poll conducted by a team of Belarusian sociologists led by

Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

The poll was conducted online on May 14-18 in Belarusian immigrant communities on social networks.

The study involved 1,180 people, 90% of respondents moved to Poland after the events of 2020.

According to the poll, 99% of respondents do not share the policy of the current Belarusian government.

The authors of the study conclude that "Belarusian emigrants living in Poland," largely - it is those people who tried to overthrow the

Lukashenko regime

in 2020. "

In the war launched by Russia on February 24, Belarusian emigrants in Poland are almost entirely on the side of Ukraine, 94% of respondents took this position.

Neutral position was taken by 5% of respondents, Russia supported 1%.

The study showed that 59% of Belarusian emigrants in Poland do not feel guilty about the war in Ukraine, about a third - 32% - live with guilt for it.
