Greece has extended until April 11 the restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 for those entering the country, ANA-MPA reported.

The extension of the measures was announced in a statement to the crews of the international flights by the Civil Aviation Service.

Without a test, but with a European digital certificate, citizens of EU member states, the United States, Australia and Canada, as well as 35 other countries that have joined the EU digital certificate system, will enter Greece.

In addition to a European certificate, they will be able to enter Greece with a vaccination certificate valid for 9 months after the end of the main vaccination cycle or indefinitely if given a booster dose.

Passengers may also present a certificate of illness valid for 180 days, a negative PCR test done up to 72 hours before arrival or a negative rapid test done up to 24 hours before arrival.

All passengers from other countries must pass a negative test, whether or not they have been vaccinated.

The obligation to prove their health status also applies to children over 5 years of age.

All passengers can be subjected to a control test.
