On February 26, some residents of the Belarusian capital brought flowers to the Ukrainian embassy as a sign of sympathy and solidarity with the Ukrainian people and against the war against Ukraine unleashed by Russia with Lukashenko's support.

I would like to express my gratitude for the solidarity with the people of Ukraine at this time.

And for the flowers you bring to the Embassy.

I have worked in London, Paris, Ottawa, where such actions are common.

But I admire your courage to do it here in Minsk, where today the demonstration of their negative attitude to the war waged by Russia against the Ukrainian people can be dangerous.
