The well-known hit rock singer from Peja and Kosovo, Eduard Meraku, known as Edi King, passed away this afternoon.

The news of his death was initially confirmed by friends and musical associates of the deceased.

While, in the evening, Peja Hospital, through the Emergency care team, confirmed for 'RADIO 1', that the singer Meraku, now deceased, was referred and sent to the UCCK, where he died, after heart problems.

Edi King, tomorrow (Friday) will be transported to his last home in the cemetery of his hometown in Peja.

The funeral ceremony will take place at 13:00.

Edi King will undoubtedly remain an indelible mark on music history.

He was also one of the founders of the Kosovar rock band Seleksioni 039 known for their hits in the 80s and 90s.
