The film "Zgjoi" by director Blerta Basholli, which became an extraordinary international success, becoming Kosovo's nomination for the Oscar, in the category for best foreign film, will begin showing to the public in Kosovo on 28 October, at Cineplexx Prishtina and Prizren.

The film follows Fahrije who is looking for her husband lost during the war in Kosovo. She starts an agricultural business to ensure her family's survival in a traditional patriarchal environment where her ambition to develop is not well received. Agricultural work is starting to go well except for bees which are very chaotic and aggressive towards it. On her journey to find peace with the bees, she also begins to find peace with herself to live in a new situation for her.

"Zgjoi" is produced by Yll Uka, Valon Bajgora and Agon Uka;

while in the main role plays Yllka Gashi, and in other roles play Çun Lajçi, Kumrije Hoxha, Aurita Agushi, Kaona Sylejmani, Mal Noah Safçiu, Adriana Matoshi, Astrit Kabashi, Molikë Maxhuni, Blerta Ismaili, Valire Haxhijaj Zeneli, Armend Smajli, Ilir Prapica , Xhejlane Terbunja, Shkelqim Islami etc .;

"Zgjoi" is a co-production between Kosovo, Switzerland, Albania and Northern Macedonia, and with global sales rights from LevelK.

For the premiere of this film, Cineplexx on October 28, in both cinemas, in Prishtina and Prizren, will organize the Ladies Night event, so from this day on it will be accessible to the Kosovar public.
