Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said he is "very pleased" that Boris Johnson will remain as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

APA's British bureau reports that Zelenki said it was good news that Boris Johnson won the vote of confidence.

"I am glad that we have not lost our very important ally, which is great news," he said.

In addition, Zelensky's office said that Boris Johnson was always with Zelensky and that the world needed such leaders.

It should be noted that a vote of confidence in Prime Minister Boris Johnson was held in Britain yesterday.

As a result of the vote, 211 members of the Conservative Party voted in favor of Boris Johnson remaining Prime Minister, while 148 members voted against.
