Former US President Donald Trump spoke about the consequences of Western sanctions against Russia for the people of Germany at a rally of his supporters in Ohio.

APA reports quoting RIA Novosti that he warned the Germans that they risk losing the country as a result of the reduction in the supply of Russian gas.

The former leader of the United States emphasized that he had long told Germany that this could happen.

He also claimed to have sent a white flag to Angela Merkel, then chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, to use to "surrender" to Russia:

"I sent him a flag.

But he said, 'Donald, Donald, why did you send me that flag?' ".
