Despite the complete trade embargo against Russia, the owner of the company bought and sold agricultural machinery from the aggressor country.

He also traded with Belarus.

This is reported by the cyber police of Ukraine.

According to law enforcement officers, the goods were brought to Ukraine via Europe thanks to "gasket companies".

"Illegal activities within the framework of the "Aktiv" operation were exposed by cyber police officers together with the investigative department of the Kyiv region police," the experts added.

The 61-year-old figure, who is one of the ultimate beneficiaries of the group of companies, violated the ban on the import of goods from the Russian Federation into the customs territory of Ukraine.

The purchase and sale of agricultural machinery from Russia and Belarus was carried out through offshore companies.

Law enforcement officers conducted searches at the place of residence of the suspect and at the storage sites for agricultural machinery. 

The property of the attacker was seized, including bank accounts containing a total of about 3 million dollars, corporate rights, 18 plots of land, 26 non-residential premises, private houses and apartments, luxury cars, as well as over a thousand units of agricultural machinery and vehicles.

Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 3 of Art.

110-2 (Financing of actions committed for the purpose of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of territory or state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The sanction of the article provides up to eight years of imprisonment.

Investigations are ongoing.

Procedural management is carried out by the prosecutor's office of the Kyiv region.
