Ukraine returned 215 people, including 124 officers, from Russian captivity.

This is reported by the Office of the President.

"Among those released are the commander of "Azov", Hero of Ukraine Denys Prokopenko ("Radis"), Serhii Volynskyi ("Volyn"), acting commander of the 36th separate brigade of marines, Svyatoslav Palamar ("Azov"), Oleg Khomenko ("Azov"), Denys Shlega from the National Guard, Hero of Ukraine Yevgeny Bova, commander of the 1st separate battalion of the marines. Kateryna Polishchuk ("Bird") is also returning," said OP head Andriy Yermak.

Defenders Maryana Mamonova, Yana Shumovetska, and Anastasia Chernenka, who were captured while staying at Hope, were also released.

Almost all of them have already been released on the territory of Ukraine, except for the five Azov commanders, who, according to the agreements reached earlier with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, are in Turkey under his personal guarantees of protection.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that they are now safe in Turkey, and the next step is their return to their homeland.

"Glory to Ukraine! Mr. President, everything is fine with us, the state of health is satisfactory. Thank you and the whole team," said the commander of the "Azov" regiment, Denys Prokopenko.

Zelensky assured that Ukraine remembers all its citizens and will try to save every Ukrainian.

We will remind that Ukraine has returned from Russian captivity the defenders of Mariupol, among them are soldiers of "Azov" (photo).

200 of our heroes were exchanged for Putin's godfather Viktor Medvedchuk, and the commanders of "Azovstal" - for 55 occupiers.
