The Cabinet of Ministers decided on "additional measures to extend the special quarantine regime and remove some restrictions."

APA reports that according to the decision, the term of the special quarantine regime in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been extended until 06:00 on September 1, 2022 in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the country and its possible complications.

It was determined that from June 21, 2022, the following restrictions on the special quarantine regime will be lifted:

- the requirement to prohibit the gathering of persons (excluding close relatives, ie parents, grandparents, children and siblings) in groups of more than 10 people in public places, including streets, boulevards, parks and other places;

- the inclusion of information in the portal "permit.e-gov.az" during the organization and conduct of the festivities, as well as the requirement of a signed statement of joint responsibility between the owner of the festivities and the owner of the venue.
