The Emergencies Ministry in the self-proclaimed pro-Russian Donetsk People's Republic said a projectile fell on an ammonia pipeline last night, sparking a fire that at one point spread to an area of 600 square meters.
Reuters pictures from the scene showed flames lighting up the sky over part of the city, as well as firefighters wearing gas masks.
One of them shows a corpse on the ground.
