President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Shusha.

APA reports that as part of the complex work, restoration work is being carried out to restore the historical appearance of Shusha, restore its former glory and reunite it with a full-fledged cultural life.

The head of state first got acquainted with the work carried out at the landfill in Shusha.

It was noted that household waste will be placed in special underground containers in accordance with European standards.

The landfill will include 600 SMART underground containers of 4 types and 11 pieces of special equipment.

Demolition materials will also be sorted in the area.

Ensuring the sustainability of the city's water supply system will be implemented in two phases with parallel projects.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the overhaul of the office building and the construction of a conference hall in Shusha.

It was reported that work on the building is nearing completion.

The building, built in accordance with the architecture of the city, will create all conditions
